Spain Implodes as Socialist PM is Begged to Deploy the Military as Thousands of Muslim Migrants Overrun Border

Watching the predictable fall of Spain is like watching a horrific train wreck that you can’t turn away from, and it’s all thanks to the socialist government there. Terrifying images of thousands of Muslim migrants overrunning the coastal city of Ceuta hit social media on Thursday, and this isn’t the first time the borders of Spain have been breached.
Socialist Prime Minister Pedro Sanchez has actively welcomed the invasion and is refusing to deploy the military. The people there are on the verge of a revolt. The country is swarming with young Muslim men conquering its streets with almost no resistance.
A Welcome Islamic Invasion
Fox News reporter Bill Melugin commented on the horde of Muslim militants storming Ceuta.
“This takes me back to Del Rio, TX in 2021 w/ the Haitian surge. Similar images,” he remarked, although the images seen today look far worse.
“This is what the DSA/socialist platform looks like in practice – in another country,” he correctly noted. “No borders. No immigration enforcement. Complete freedom of movement without any resistance from the government.”
“The videos coming out of Ceuta, Spain are insane,” Melugin stated. “Thousands of Moroccans and Algerians breaching and overrunning the Spanish border.”
“AP reports the city has asked Madrid to declare a national emergency. Search ‘Spain Ceuta’ on X if you haven’t seen the images yet,” he added.
A Horde of Thousands Storms Ceuta
According to the Associated Press, thousands of migrants poured into Ceuta from Morocco on Thursday. The helpful Spanish government even opened the gates for them. Local officials begged the prime minister to declare a national emergency and send the army to restore the border. Their pleas fell on deaf ears.
A Guardia Civil spokesperson reported that the migrants were “massively entering from the sea” through the Tarajal breakwater but could not provide any estimates for the numbers.

Spain’s interior ministry said it would guarantee the safety of citizens and the integrity of the nation’s border, but that the government could not declare a national emergency over migration concerns.
Video footage showed crowds of people, mainly Moroccans, walking around the breakwaters at Tarajal beach onto local roads. While the majority appeared to be young men, there were also families with women and children. “Viva España!” some shouted to a freelance photographer working for The Associated Press.
The AP report notes this isn’t the first time that the city has been flooded with migrants. The scenes of people streaming across the frontier recall the border crisis of May 2021 when more than 8,000 migrants poured into Ceuta in just two days.
Naturally, the AP is underreporting the numbers there. They always do. And notice that no major media source is calling the invaders what they are… Muslims.
Calls for the Military Fall on Deaf Socialist Ears
Juan Jesús Vivas, the head of Ceuta’s regional government, called for the country’s government to declare a national emergency on grounds of national security. He literally pleaded for more police and for the army to be deployed to the border. He was ignored.
Vivas asserted that the additional police and soldiers are necessary “to guarantee the inviolability of the frontier and citizen safety.”
No kidding. Hide the women and children.
Conservative opposition People’s Party leader Alberto Nuñez Feijoo posted on X, “The situation in Ceuta is desperate. The government cannot look the other way… because we are facing a national security crisis.”
Unfortunately, the socialists not only don’t care… they welcome their new overlords.
“The situation is absolute chaos,” said Rachid Sbihi, who is the head of the association that represents Guardia Civil officers in Ceuta, according to The Guardian. “It’s not possible to give precise numbers, but there are thousands of migrants crossing.” He added that the border had “totally collapsed.”
The Guardian is also reporting that Santiago Abascal, who leads the far-right Vox party, described the incident as an “invasion” and declared that those crossing into Ceuta were not fleeing war or poverty but had been summoned by Sánchez’s government to ensure he could remain in power. That is likely spot on.
The Spineless Socialist Prime Minister Lies and Deflects
Socialist prime minister Pedro Sánchez wrote a stunning post on X worthy of a eunuch:
The Government of Spain is fully committed to providing an immediate response to the situation in Ceuta.
We are mobilizing all necessary resources, working with Moroccan and international authorities, and preparing the necessary measures to restore normalcy as soon as possible. I just conveyed this to President Juan Vivas Lara.
This is the moment to build solutions, with responsibility and cooperation.
In July, Spain’s Supreme Court ruled that migrants intercepted at sea while attempting to reach Ceuta or Melilla cannot be summarily returned under the enclaves’ special border-rejection regime.
No wonder the PSOE (Pedro Sanchez’s Socialist Party) is at historic lows in Spain’s legislature. The party is rocking 26-27 percent in the polls. It’s not just the horror of being overrun by Muslim hordes; it’s been one corruption scandal after another since he’s been in office. Spaniards are hopeful he will get the boot by the end of the year, but the damage is already done.

Many local shops were shuttered. Enrique Serrano, who runs a women’s clothing store in central Ceuta, told Reuters business owners were organizing themselves to protect their property and families in case of possible disturbances as they believed police resources would be insufficient.
“I’m not opening this afternoon because the situation is extremely tense… The first thing I have to do is protect my business and my family,” he said, adding that when the fence was breached after midnight, hundreds of migrants rushed through in a matter of minutes.
Not the First Invasion for Ceuta
Ceuta, together with Melilla, another Spanish autonomous city located in North Africa, represents the European Union’s only land border with Africa. Both cities periodically experience surges in attempted crossings by migrants seeking to reach Europe. The last one in 2021 for Ceuta saw at least 10,000 Moroccan and sub-Saharan Muslim migrants swarm in.
Images showed some of the migrants shouting “Long live Spain” as they charged over the border or out of the sea. That’s not a yell of patriotism… that’s a shout of conquest.
