President Trump Last Night on Air Force One: Cuba, Mexico, Colombia, Iran and Greenland

In 2025, eight wars in 12 months (bombing of Iran, Iraq, Nigeria, Palestine, Somalia, Syria, Yemen, Venezuela) will appear like a walk in the park at the end of 2026, if Trump gets away with it. What a wonderful Peace President!

To be sure that he means what he brags about, 12 C-17 large transport military aircraft are being prepared, complete with helicopter and other attack equipment. They are readied for transfer to the US military base in Ramstein Germany, waiting to attack Iran

According to a brief press conference on Air Force One from Florida to Washington, Sunday night, 4 January 2026, Trump, the Peace President, without mentioning the “Monroe Doctrine”, confirmed his agenda “Monroe 2.0”, saying non-verbatim, that the US military is ready for a second much larger wave on Venezuela.

When a reporter countered that he understood this option was now off the table, Trump said “not at all”, adding something to the effect, it depends on how Delcy (Rodriguez) – former Vice President now interim President of Venezuela — “behaves” meaning whether she follows his orders or not.

He may go also after Delcy and her fate may be much worse than that of Maduro’s. According to Trump, Maduro did not resist, he raised his hands and surrendered. “Good for him”, Trump doubled up.

Then Trump went on to paint the larger picture about his plans of dominating his “backyard”, Latin America and the Caribbean (LAC), starting with Cuba.

What about Cuba? Asked a journalist.

Cuba was ready to fall.

Would he, Trump, intervene in Cuba?

Trump just repeated, Cuba was ready to fall, they received money from Venezuela and now it is finished, implying that without subsidies from Venezuela, Cuba is “falling” by itself.

Trump also started talking about Mexico: “They have to get their act together fighting the drug cartels – not easy in Mexico they are very strong.” Maybe we must help, he mused.

Going on to Colombia —a very sick country— also referring to President Gustavo Petro. “He is a sick man who likes to smuggle cocaine and sell it in the USA.” Answering a reporter’s question about putting boots on the ground in Colombia, he said, “As far as I’m concerned, that sounds good! And you know why? Because he’s killing a lot of people!”

All of these unproven drug-smuggling and dealing accusations are notwithstanding the fact that the US is the world’s biggest drug-dealer by far.

Moving on to Iran: “If Iran starts killing people as it did in the past, I believe the United States will hit it hard.”

About Greenland, he said it is not urgent, we will talk about it in about two months. “We will eventually invade, for national security, not for resources, we have plenty. We have more natural resources than any other country in the world.”

It is not clear whether his bragging includes Venezuela’s hydrocarbons, that he and his cronies of the US oil companies are planning to steal.

He justified his “natural security” reason for annexing Greenland by saying “There are Chinese and Russian ships everywhere.” What could China say? About half of the US navy fleet is stationed in the South China Sea.

It looks like we are in for the long haul. The west is openly or tacitly approving, by simply letting it happen, either being silent, or even encouraging.

The question that increasingly imposes itself is: why do Russia and China refrain from intervening beyond issuing condemnations?
